new flower blooms!

Remember about the pot I made that I planned on giving Mr. ZF? Yeahhh

This pot....

The pot looks lonely without flower. Haha

And due to the fact that I was all excited with the new experiment of using papers printed with words inspired by Cheryl's card, I made the petals using that type of coils with the wrong color choice.

Please agree with me that it looks dull.

So dull that I ripped it off and replace with a new one.

This is nicer and look more flowery :P

And I made a mat to balance it :)

Yeap, it's only +/- 2" hehe

And, I am currently trying my best to complete 2 decoration cards before Sunday. Arghhhhh!!!!

This is what I've been doing for the whole week.

And now I feel like I need to reward something for myself but I dont know just yet. Because I already have everything I needs/wants right now *I'm learning about contentment today* :P

And ohh my birthday is coming... Ohhh I can't wait!!! :D

p/s: You can view more photos of my KL view HERE. Thankss!!!!

official photos of my KL view :D

It's been a while since my last entry about my so-called masterpiece - the KL view project. I was looking forward for a photoshoot with the Mr. Photographer but then again, I was busy running errands. I was all forgotten about this because it is well displayed on my bedside table :D

Luckily, I did managed to bring this baby to a photoshoot we did at a parking lot in Petaling Jaya area *the same spot we did for red fm card and arabic calligraphy hehe*

So, bring it on!!!

I love the frame which I bought from ikea. Even though it did not fit well *due to the fact I was all syok sendiri potong sana sini* but it looks great isn't it?

I love love the red heart shape and it pops out! :D

It is very special even though it is not that perfect but this is my first experiment I did and the biggest and the coils were use in this project are so many as I didn't remember how many black colored papers I used to fill up this thing! Haha and I abandoned this project for months just because I was so tired of filling it up! But then I dont know how I learned this technique of filling up spaces and it just completed in a second! Haha

Anyway, I love love love this and planning on doing another view, which I haven't decided yet *and picture of Eiffel Tower is on my mind right now haha* :D

I am planning on so many projects this year but the fact that I didn't even have time for myself just yet and the big day is on the way, and I'm just not in love with my day job and ohhh the fact that I AM LAZY makes it all crystal clear that I'm kind of BUSY right? Hah.

p/s: I don't know how many times I tried to upload more photos at fb and it didn't work out. Arghhh!!!! Will let you know once uploaded. Grrrrrrr

my version of KL view

As promised, and as lazy as always, I'm suddenly rajin to get the USB cable from my bag and yes.....to transfer the pictures of the completed KL view quilling of my version. Heh.

Anyway, I can't find a time to go to the shop to frame this art piece of mine. But I'm planning to maybe some time around this weekend because I can't wait to see it nicely framed and to be hanged on my wall :)

So enjoy the pictures yaa!!

With flash on, but I like the design of the coils. It's cute.

Close up.

Honestly, I think I need to brush up my skills.

The KL Twin Tower

The coils.

The KL Tower.

So yeahh.... I'm satisfied with the outcome. I may be planning on doing this type of quilling for other views too coz it's easy, and it's pretty cute I guess. I may even planning on opening this for orders, but this one may take a lot of time, so please bear with me ok?

You can have whatever views (buildings, houses etc) you want, just email me the picture :)

word puzzle project - part 2

I managed to finish the project. It's a simple project so it wont take time too long. It's just me who is popular with the label : LAZY. Hehehe

But I didnt touch up the right side of the board coz I wanted to write the words in the puzzle and the names and also the date it's completely perfectly finished. But it was satisfying once I hold it up on the wall. I wanted to send for framing so, once its completely framed I will post the perfect photo here :)

Ok, now I can proceed with zFi project and KL view project!!

p/s : My sister suggested I add some background to this, I will see what I can do about it. Hmmm....

KL view project - part 4

Already Part 4 is it?

Hahahaha

Just a quick update.

Managed to fill up spaces between the names. But only for a name. Hahaha. I got tired, my back hurts, my eyes also got tired because I had to memorize which spaces to fill up and to measure the sizes. Urghhh! Yeah, I gave up already. I have to remind myself over and over again to make sure this one done by next year coz I have that zFi project waiting in the line. Huh.

See the name : FARHAN :)

I will be able to finish that by next week if I'm not that busy. Hahaha

Dream on.

KL view project - part 3

Been busy with work lately, but I slowly finishing this project if I have some time in between :P

This is the update. Glad that it turns out pretty well I guess. It takes time to fill up the spaces between the coil, so it's kind of pain in the ass to stare at so many black coils and searching for spaces, and rolling the paper strips, and cut out in different sizes due to different size of spaces. Hah. But, I'm currently satisfied with the outcome. Anyway, it's still 95% completed.

Full view, without the birds.

the spaces.

 the close up.

Adding birds to keep it lively. Heh

Yes, the names.

I just need to finish up filling those spaces between the names. Then I'm done!!! And then I'm going to send it to shop to get it framed :)

So to ditch you zFi project. I will start on that after finishing this. Urghhh!!!

KL view project - part 2

I was all up today coz I was so excited to finish this project. Unfortunately, I AM A FULL TIME GOVERNMENT SERVANT. So I couldn't just sit and roll all day. Haha

But I did go back late today, just to glue all the coils on the line so that easier for me to fill up the space.

I was kinda feel a bit enlighten by a colleague who asked about the KL view project when she saw that. I said to her, that this is still under consideration on opening this for orders. Coz, I think the least it would take me to finish this is maybe around more than 2 weeks if I am busy. One week top if I go back late everyday.

So this project is like an experiment, which I hope to turn out well  :)

Here's some pictures of the KL view project..

The Petronas Twin Tower

The KL Tower

The full view.

I have to roll more coils to fill up those spaces. I think I will get a back pain for days due to rolling and gluing for days. Arghh!!!

Wish me luck! :P

KL view project

I was so lazy days ago.

And the thought of how boring my life would be without a project kinda making me exhausted and unexcited indeed.

Yup, I started a new project TODAY. Yeay!!

I was planning on doing something like THIS cos I was inspired by the city view and it looks simple yet the artsy feeling make me wanted to have one but I didnt have the material first hand.

Fortunately, found a piece of thick white paper and then the qulling begins....

I sketched the shape/ picture of KL view on a paper.

The sketch is based on this picture I found on google.

Folded the paper follow the sketch.

Then, glued the folded strip paper
on the thick white paper as based.

This is the KL Tower, one of the tallest building in the world.

Fill it up!

The strips.

I just can't wait how it will turn out to be. I might not be the most creative one, but I do know what I like and how do I wanted it to be.

I just remembered, that I haven't had the chance to finish up my zfi project. Pathetic.

But I promise I will, maybe not now coz my room is freaking messed up! So I need to clear out and sort things out before I started my zfi project again.

In the meantime, I AM TOO EXCITED TO FINISH THIS KL VIEW PROJECT!!!!
