Miniature flower pot

Its been a while I didnt touch my quilling tools. After few months, our life has back on the right track. But I still dont have te feeling to start quilling again.

Until recently, my inner guts desperately need some crafting.

I started with gift wrapping.

And then, I was at my hometown looking at some of my stuff back then, reminiscing how happy I was when the my quilling craft had been made sone people happy especially during their special day.

Then, this morning I felt like I wanted to make something. So I did this flower pot.

Ohh how I miss quilling!

Get on the move

This guy approached me long long time ago. And I had difficulties in doing his request but he begged me to the signage, which I thought as a favor since I've already accepted the order and had to reject due to unforeseen circumstances.

Its so hard to get me going. Quilling is my passion. But lately it became a burden. Maybe because of the ofice hiatus and all I couldn't let myself in the picture of enjoying myself with quilling. Deep down I feel blessed with the gift. It keeps my life colorful. Wonderful. Satisfied. Content.

Im hoping for a better me. Urghhh. Blerghhhhh.

Building a mosque

This is card request by my loyal customer, she was once an ex-college.

She always give me her idea which I thought is super great and she just knew how capable of me doing what she wants.

In conjunction of the holy month of Ramadhan and preparation for raya celebration, she asked for a raya card. And I love her idea.

Her original request was a skyline view of mosques.

And my version is a lot like my KL view project I did last time.

She also request for arabic font which for us Malaysia, not many of us got the arabic keyboard. So that a challenge.

I did a lot of research to find a suitable font to choose... Instead I used my own writing. Hahaha.

It looks cool.

Description of card :
Size - A4
Type - mounting board
Theme - black & white

My first photo album

A long lost primary ex schoolmate
message me on facebook since last year. I never done a design for photo album. I am welcoming whatever ideas my potential customer suggesting to me. Its just sometimes, I dont want to use my brain to think complexly. I mean, who doesnt?

But this is like a challenge to me and I know its no harm for me to try.

I managed to get it done and it looks nice. At least for me. Haha

I applied new techniques for the flowers. I think I love it.

Details of the album :
Size : 31.7 x 31.5cm
- containing 20 black self adhesive sheets with black hard cover.
- center cut out on front cover.
- comes with box.

Let me know if you are interested.

New tools

Some may have heard that I used a paper clip as a quilling tool. And I didnt look for a real one. I did find from the blogs that sell but did not occur to me to buy one.

Until recently, I found a new technique called beehives technique created by someone I forgot her name which happen to need to use the slotted tool.

And at that very moment, I found myself THE MOTHER OF QUILLING TOOLS SUPPLY, Crafty Diva. Hohoho. Yes. She sells like everything from tools to books.

Its a bit pricey but the tools came from oversea, so I can foresee it. She even gave me a thank you card with quilled flower on it. How sweet.

Kak Aziha, thanks for the card :) I really like it!

And as for me, I was so excited I cant wait to make one of that beehives flower petals, so I started working on it. And it works!!! I even made 5 of them!

See, I know its a bit ugly. But it works! Hehehe

So now I know that slotted tool is so easy to use but cannot be used with thick paper, which I happen to love to use when quilling.

Ok then, happy quilling!

Bubbles

How I wish it looks more like cute bubbles.

Now I dont dare saying bubbles are the inspiration. More like balls full of laces. Urghh. BALLS.

But still, balls full of cuteness!

Didnt I ever mentioned I love round circle thing? Yep. Still do.

And doing this does make me the happiest :D

I really really hope that the proud owner of this guestbook will love this. I have tried my best. I do whatever I can to make sure I deliver the best which is the hardest thing to do.

Hmmpphhh.
