My first photo album

A long lost primary ex schoolmate
message me on facebook since last year. I never done a design for photo album. I am welcoming whatever ideas my potential customer suggesting to me. Its just sometimes, I dont want to use my brain to think complexly. I mean, who doesnt?

But this is like a challenge to me and I know its no harm for me to try.

I managed to get it done and it looks nice. At least for me. Haha

I applied new techniques for the flowers. I think I love it.

Details of the album :
Size : 31.7 x 31.5cm
- containing 20 black self adhesive sheets with black hard cover.
- center cut out on front cover.
- comes with box.

Let me know if you are interested.

Handmade cake topper

I was so lucky the cake topper I made for the birthday cake turned up great! Praise myself for the effort. Hehe

And he loves it! He never thought I bought a cake for him and he loves the cake and the decoration too. And I feel appreciated. Heart melt.

I wanted to have my own signature and since I dont know how to bake a cake, why not I decorated it myself.

I asked the baker to give plain undecorated tall cake. Yeah, tall cake is so IN right now. Why not. And its red velvet.

There, my first bunting cake topper. If you have a longer stick, then it will be prettier.

If you interested or to discuss ideas, dont hesitate to email me or add me on facebook. I may able to do one for you if you like it!

The birthday cake

Last 2 weeks I have been searching all over the world for the most delicious red velvet cake for the birthday boy. I know one baker but she cannot make it. Poor her and poor me. Plan B.

I dont have a transport to pick up cakes or whatever and to ask the birthday boy to pick up his own cake, done that. So this year around, I dont think I should even I have to pay extra for the stupid delivery. Urghh.

For the cake, I managed to find one. And for godsaken. Kinda expensive. And I expected that. But I was running out of time. I even picked the second cheapest. Haha. And its a plain one without decoration. Because I wanted to do it myself!

There is the only chance I can decorate the cake. Yes, there is another time but I cant wait. By the time my request has been rejected due to my humble request, I kinda feel lost. I want to make the birthday special. But the photograph cake is stupidly expensive. And obviously stupid.

So I searched and browse all over the internet to find inspiration. I even googled valentine theme cake. How lame. And then I ask the birthday boy one last time, what kind of cake that he wants for his birthday. Then he said he wanted an MU theme. God.

Then I found these love pictures from google.

And ideas coming down to me. Just do bunting cake topper. Hehe. The easiest way to decorate a cake.

So I made one.

I just cant wait to see them on the cake. This is my second time of making cake topper.

I really really hope it works. I dont want to ruins someone's birthday cake.

New tools

Some may have heard that I used a paper clip as a quilling tool. And I didnt look for a real one. I did find from the blogs that sell but did not occur to me to buy one.

Until recently, I found a new technique called beehives technique created by someone I forgot her name which happen to need to use the slotted tool.

And at that very moment, I found myself THE MOTHER OF QUILLING TOOLS SUPPLY, Crafty Diva. Hohoho. Yes. She sells like everything from tools to books.

Its a bit pricey but the tools came from oversea, so I can foresee it. She even gave me a thank you card with quilled flower on it. How sweet.

Kak Aziha, thanks for the card :) I really like it!

And as for me, I was so excited I cant wait to make one of that beehives flower petals, so I started working on it. And it works!!! I even made 5 of them!

See, I know its a bit ugly. But it works! Hehehe

So now I know that slotted tool is so easy to use but cannot be used with thick paper, which I happen to love to use when quilling.

Ok then, happy quilling!
