Cheapest gift tag

When it comes to organizing medium size party that involve around 10 people, for the not so rich people like me, I wanted all things cheap. Or I dont even have to pay anything. Okay, I LIKE THAT ALOT.

I wanted a gift tag with everybody's name on it. And I wanted a gift tag that people can keep as a memoir and they can use it as decor to their workspace or whatever. Its not something uncool that you dont feel anything when you wanted to trash it. Uh-uh.

I made the gift tags from a box. So I cut it into small tags. And give them a facelift! And ohh how I love that heart shape puncher hehe the heart size is perfect for this!

And I printed some words that I wanted on the tags. So its a gathering party, yeah, LETS PARTAYY!!! Initially, I intended to use my alphabet stamps, whic unfortunately I cannot find my stamp pad. Damn. So bye bye stampies. Gahh. So I think afrer this I should go buy a stamp pad.

There there. I love it!!

Party people

We are planning for a party this weekend with some friends so I volunteered myself to make a cake topper and doorgift.

I made some confetti for the doorgift and my hands hurt for 2 days! And I only have a heart shape puncher so.. So yeah.

I made a cake topper from the leftover paper I used for the confetti. So colorful and cute right?

I also prepared some garlands for the backdrop for taking pictures. Hehe. I just thought it would be fun.

Looking forward to this weekend!

Chalk talk

So I have a wall with chalkboard paint. So I need to have chalks to write, no?

So I have bought a box of white chalk and some colorful chalk. And of course if you love the old school feeling, white chalk is the best! The best ever. So that is why the impact of having a black chalkboard wall is so much better than the other colors.

Ok cut the crap. Now we talk about chalk pencil. I mean, CHALK PENCIL, this is super duper cool! Right?

And I dont wait a second to get this baby. So I have had ordered online which got me some christmas discount which apparently drives me nuts and bought some other stupid stuff along the way.

And the pencil got me damn excited. I thought the pencil was a real chalk stuck in a pencil. Instead, I think its like a color pencil. White color pencil.

But I thought there was still hope, the box says its best used with their chalkboard paint. So I thought of course, all chalkboard paints are the same. So I thought. Yeahh.

So that part came out so wrong. So so so wrong. Gahhh. Its a bit expensive for a  box of 5 pieces of pencil with a sharpener, so this must work! Nahhh.

The effect is lovely, I admit. But the part where you wanted to remove it, you gotta try it!

I really really love how it goes. I really do. But the fact that its not gonna come off that easy, I didnt dare to use that on my wall. Since I have couple of chalkboard myself, why not use them for good!

I dont use them that often so, there you go. I love my arabic calligraphy. The pencil worked wonders. Its just that you really really need to do your artwork with perfection or else you will waste your time and energy just to get it off.

Anyway, I am one super satisfied customer and if they made it easier to get it off I would give this a 10. Yeapp.

Ohh I totally forgot to mention where I got this baby, yeapp my most favourite shop so far, Typo. I even went crazy while I was in Australia. I went to the shop twice. Million times online. We have them in Malaysia too. But somehow or rather I find it pricey and they dont have many choices compared to online.

Yeahh, this will do then.

Good night.

DIY Cardboard Wall Shelves

I was wondering about getting the master bedroom a little touch up which will cost me zero budget and a little time.

I was thinking about getting cardboard but I cant imagine and didnt have the guts to proceed with it. So I search on the internet for some ideas and confidence that it will come out perfectly.

And today when I reached the office, I quickly gathered all empty boxes to bring home.

So there you go!

Its perfect and I like it! Simple as that, binder clips to stick the boxes and voila! I put all together my decor, which most of them I got from typo and just decorate it!

I have been thinking about this for the whole time that I can remember of, but I dont even know where to start.

After this I will do another shelves for our clothes since we dont even have the wardrobe yet.

So what do you think?

Wooden letter coasters

While I was digging out my stuff, I found scrabble wooden letters leftover from my wedding prep year ago. So I found good stuff from Pinterest and no harm to try some of DIYs.

What I did was assembled the wooden letters with super glue. You can do whatever size you want as long as you got enough letters. Duhh.

I glued a hard plastic to make it stable. Get them sprayed with clear spray paint to make them waterproof and more sturdy.

So there you go.

Did I ever mention I love typography?

Yep. One of them. And Im totally ready for next projects on the list.

Ahhhh canvas canvas canvas. Ahhhh.
