Party people

We are planning for a party this weekend with some friends so I volunteered myself to make a cake topper and doorgift.

I made some confetti for the doorgift and my hands hurt for 2 days! And I only have a heart shape puncher so.. So yeah.

I made a cake topper from the leftover paper I used for the confetti. So colorful and cute right?

I also prepared some garlands for the backdrop for taking pictures. Hehe. I just thought it would be fun.

Looking forward to this weekend!

Miniature flower pot

Its been a while I didnt touch my quilling tools. After few months, our life has back on the right track. But I still dont have te feeling to start quilling again.

Until recently, my inner guts desperately need some crafting.

I started with gift wrapping.

And then, I was at my hometown looking at some of my stuff back then, reminiscing how happy I was when the my quilling craft had been made sone people happy especially during their special day.

Then, this morning I felt like I wanted to make something. So I did this flower pot.

Ohh how I miss quilling!

Story of a lazy bum

I never meant to be one.

But sometimes you just cant avoid being one.

And to hope not to be one is just praying. Not to be one. Which absolutely no sign of success.

So I am still at the point where I got all excited but tired and eventually lead to laziness.

There you are.

Just at a point where I stopped. 2 days ago. Haha.

Please please get my nerves back on the feet so I can comtinue.

Oklah. Gotta go.

Signature style of mine

(ada hati???)

Since I started quilling I think I have been developing one kind of style.

Its a pain in the ass in the first place. Consume a lot, I mean a lot a lot a lot of patience, time and your energy. Backache is normal.

And its not something that I can be proud of.

Maybe an amateur who just fall in love in quilling and learn it in a day can do the style.

Eventhough its kinda boring but I dont know why I keep on repeating it.

Most of my handmade cards/guestbooks were full of that coils.

THAT BASIC COILS.

Its boring I know. Its normal. Nothing special. But stupidly require more time and more backache.

Something that is stupidly boring and normal is what my style is.

Which can be easily interpret my personality.

SIMPLE AND BORING.

Hahahaha.

Its just me. And Im loving it!

And I want to make millions of that basic coils. Tons of 'em! Tons and tons and sleep on 'em.

Sure hell my life would be super fantastic!

Just Married :)

Wedding decorations and props

It was nothing. Really. And I only thought about it 2 weeks before my wedding.

My head would seriously explode if I did not make 'em happenned. And the worst part was I happenned to have an idea but what I did was definitely not what I wanted to do in the first place! But I dont mind anyway. As long as I did something that very meaningful to me for my wedding.

And if you did follow my blog back then, I was really into quilling and got super excited to have something quilled for the wedding. Instead I found out I was super busy with works and wedding preparations so I just have to forget about my quilling project.

Despite all of that, my love for paper is really is something. So by the time the countdown ticking at the very last 30-ish day I knew I need to have these as memories to remember for my entire life. Hehe

This is the signage for my solemnization.

The book I ordered from As Simple Rhyme. I call this one Buku Rajin (hardworking book)

This is an A4 sketch book. This is Buku Malas (lazy book)

** book = me hehehehe

Props for the photobooth. A bit small. If I happen to open for orders I might have these bigger. Also I was planning on using this for my outdoor photoshoot.

I dont know what to call this. But this is the only table decor I managed to make. Haha

Love kebab. Also props for the photobooth and outdoor photoshoot. Hehe

I'm loving this one. I intended on making hanging hearts on this frame and turned out I found myself happily made these bunch of pinwheels.

I did make some pinwheels back then for my cake topper. I happened to find out my vendor also decorate for her customers using pinwheels. Pinwheels are super easy. Haha

I will posted out some real photos from my reception real soon once I get them from my photographer.

Hopefully this post giving some ideas for those brides to be :)

On Wanie's big day!

I'm currently at home sweet home, breathe in the scent of home and new painted wall. Urghh. And my mom already hanged her new curtains for the living room and dining room. It looks seriously beautiful and how I am proud of the day curtain I chose with my mom months back. It looks lovely. And how I wish I could buy one for my own house soon. Urghhh.

Ok.

Back to Wanie's big day. I was all up for weeks just to make sure I can deliver on time. And seriously it was fun doing it. And I was doing all that all by myself. Except when I was back at home, and got my sisters all busybody lending hands to help. Hmmphhh. Thank you sisters :D

Despite of all the glory, I ended up not having the opportunity to arrange the table myself. It kind of disappointment but what the hell, I ALREADY DID THE BIG PART OF IT! Hahaha

I feel kind of ashamed at first, and to quote the price, you how hard it is when it comes with friends. I'm not confident enough about all of this because this is my first time doing it that's why I felt it very very very hard.

The most important part is, my friend and her family love it! That's where my smile came from for days. Haha. And I love it too! I love the guestbooks, I love the signage, I love the super sweet topiaries, I love all of them!

I think I mumbled just enough for the super super beautiful photos taken by my super sweet Mr Photographer :)

Here you go......

More photos HERE.

Please email if you are interested!! :D

the wedding guestbook

As promised, i will update for the guestbook first since i didnt get back official pictures from Mr Photographer.

From one black simple scrapbook, with some work of my magic, i successfully turn them into as pictured above.

I am truly believe now I do have magic. Haha.

I stayed all night just to make sure I can rest assured that those books can be finished before the dateline which is on 3rd June. And I made it.

Designs for both books are totally different. I want the first to be an amazement but the second to be a minimalist. But I just love 'em both!

This is my first time doing wedding guestbook, which I really am enjoy doing it. It was fun and satisfying. I like how it turns to be one of the attraction on my friends big day.

More will come soon. I will blog about it later hehehe

Bye!

Cikgu Zakir punya pasal

First and foremost, I would to apologize to Nabila, due to this unfinished business. I promised her to send this card by this week. But I failed due to the circumstances of 'it's about time' and the inconvenience of bilik sewa.Haha I'm not complaining. I'm not. That is facts. Haha

Anyway, I must say that she is unbelievably the nicest customer ever! *puji nihh pujii haha* All I could remember when I emailed her, with the reply, it's ok, take your time. And I did explained to her why I can't meet the deadline whatsoever, which in hope she could understand. And she did. THANK YOU NABILA :)

And I managed to finish the card last night. With help of some courage and the commitment and a gleaming light, taaa daaaa

I found that cute tie design from googling and I asked her if I could make this and she said ok :)

I love doing heart shape. This card is as big as A4 paper, and she also want a name tag attach on it, so there it is. At this point of blogging, I didnt manage to write down her personal message yet because I'M OBVIOUSLY KILLING THE TIME TO PACK TO GO BACK T_____T

Oklahh the clock is never stop ticking, I have to go now, and I hope she really really like it :D

p/s: Nabila personally asked a card with shirt and tie with a name tag since her husband is a teacher, cute!

to date

I just got back from work and the post office to send out 2 cards, one for the customer herself, the other one directly to the recipient himself.

And today, wanted to show you a card I made last week, and the other just finished yesterday. Haha

One small sweet card requested by one of my customer, for Mother's Day. She messaged me on facebook since early March if I'm not mistaken. She asked me to make a remake of one of my previous card. And yeahh it was so hard to copy the same design I made months ago. I hope she will like it even if it's not alike. Haha

Ok, the other card is for their 3rd anniversary. She at first requested pink and purple for the color then change for red and white *I asked her permission to add black into the theme :P* with the same design I previously made on a size of A4 card.

Hope both of them will love the cards I made for them. God bless you!! :D

p/s: I am so naive that a friend has said this to my face, "Dont trust anyone after this!" Hahahaha
